Freedom From Smoking® is a seven-week program that takes you through the quitting process one step at a time in a supportive environment. It offers a proven method for quitting based on the premise that smoking is a learned activity. A certified facilitator helps you understand when and why you smoke so you can learn to fight your addiction and quit for good.

Classes are taught in small groups that meet regularly over a seven-week period. During the first session, the instructor will explain the program, how it works, and what you can expect. In the following weeks, you develop a deeper understanding of what triggers your need to smoke and ways to cope without lighting up. Each session builds your confidence and motivation until you are ready to quit.

Program sessions address a number of key issues:
• Managing stress
• Nicotine withdrawal
• Weight control
• Long-term strategies for staying free from tobacco

Your class will serve as a support group where you can share your struggles and successes with others who understand what you are going through.

This online program uses a workbook with seven modules to guide you through the quitting process and help you understand when and why you smoke so you can change your behavior and quit for good. In the first module, you learn more about the program and what to expect.
The modules address a number of key issues, including managing stress, nicotine withdrawal, and long-term strategies for staying smoke-free.
